Who We Are

Acceptance. Accessibility.

The Florida Disability Access and Awareness Foundation creates media to promote empathy and empowerment for the disability community.

Our ultimate goal is to help create an inclusive society where those with physical and intellectual challenges are treated with respect and their needs are understood and accommodated.

FDAAF is a 501(c)(3) public charity. All contributions are tax-deductible.

Meet Our People

Ralph Strzalkowski

Ralph Strzalkowski

President

Born in Poland with cerebral palsy, Strzalkowski uses a wheelchair. He became a lawyer in America and founded FDAAF to improve how individuals with disabilities are perceived in the community, aiming to dispel stereotypes and promote empathy through media and technology.

Zachary Taylor

Zachary Taylor

Lead Developer

Taylor lost his hearing and balance to meningitis in third grade. He holds two electronics degrees and a BS in Game Design from Full Sail University. His involvement with FDAAF focuses on accessibility design, particularly captioning and inclusive features for those with hearing impairments.

Michael Bridges

Michael Bridges

Audio Engineer

Bridges graduated from Carnegie Mellon's Audio Recording & Production program and founded SoundTruss Productions. He brings expertise in music, film, and video game audio to FDAAF, believing sound is a powerful storytelling tool for this cause.

Paul Brophy

Paul Brophy

Corporate Secretary and Treasurer

An Irish emigrant to Florida, Brophy built an accessible business in Gainesville and joined FDAAF in 2013. He works with Florida's Agency for People with Disabilities.
